On the French side, it extends into the Ossau valley. On the Spanish side, it extends into the Tena valley. It is a former border crossing, where you can still see a border post. Numerous hiking and cycling trails and circuits allow you to explore it and enjoy breathtaking views of the Pyrenean mountains, and in particular the Pic du Midi d'Ossau.
