I embarked on my cycling adventure here at the age of 50, and I’m still in awe these tough Pyrenean passes and epic foothills today—proving that cycling truly is for everyone! Welcome to my journey through the French Pyrenees, where I share my dreams and experiences. My aim is to inspire others to pursue their passions, ride bikes, work diligently, and reach their goals. I strongly advocate for exercising and enjoying the outdoors, as I truly believe that spending time in nature positively influences our mental well-being.

In a nutshell about DEBBIE
Exploring the Pyrenees, one pedal stroke at a time. Since relocating to the French Pyrenees in 2015, cycling has become my ultimate passion. I've ascended over 581,000 meters from my home near Laruns, routinely taking on local Cols and HC climbs such as the Aubisque, Marie-Blanque, Pourtalet, La Pierre Saint-Martin, Soulor, and many more beyond. This blog offers more than just route suggestions; as a local cycling ambassador, I emphasise safety and the mountain experience. I also embraced photography to capture the stunning landscapes that help preserve these memories. In January 2025, I began rowing to reach a million meters before the season wraps up in April 2027, adding an exciting challenge to my cycling training. Whether you’re a newcomer to endurance sports or planning your next cycling escapade, it's never too late to begin anew. Let’s tackle the climbs together—the view is always rewarding when earned.
